This training will deepen your experience and abilities around navigating liminal spaces and being with dying. In addition to honing practical skills of being with people at end of life and their families, we will focus on energy - like what we can know about someone without touching or talking to them, feeling into a room, tracking resonance, being vs. doing, attunement, deep presence. We’ll also get well versed in the language of dying, nervous system regulation, meaning making, and bridging inner and outer worlds. Much of this will be done experientially. Through curated experiences, you’ll learn by doing.

Pre-requisite: end of life caregiving experience and previous end of life training. Application and interview are also required.

The Change You’ll Experience

My intention is for you to become a steady, healing presence for people at end of life, so steady and consciously aware that you become the go to person in your community for this work. You do have the power to offer eol/grief work and support yourself at the same time. We’ll spend time talking about ingredients needed for that special sauce and help you create a recipe perfect for you.

In addition to our week of focused live training, we’ll work together in July, August, and September 2024 - group coaching 2x a month and individual coaching 1x a month. I want you to leave our time together (1) Embodying a significantly deeper level of ability around end of life work than when you arrived, (2) with Tools + Awareness of how to navigate liminal spaces, (3) Trust in your own skills and gifts, (4) a Plan + action steps completed towards doing EOL/grief/support work in a way that fulfills you (paid or not), and (5) a new Community you can count on to help you learn, grow, and celebrate.

June 19 Equus Day with Renee Sievert + Friends. On the ground horse work; No riding. No prior horse knowledge required.

June 22 Integration and Closing: Make flights home 1:00p or later.

Investment: $4900 — $500 deposit due upon completion of application. Priority offered to D-School + SYG Alums. Fee covers training, housing, in-house meals, transportation in San Antonio to/from airport + group excursions. Travel to San Antonio is your responsibility. The optional ketamine experience is an additional fee. Yes, a payment plan is available.

Application + interview are required. This cohort limited to eight students. Your deposit will be fully refunded if you are not accepted into this cohort.

Applications are open through April 30th at 5p CST. Decisions will be shared by email on or before May 3rd.

REFUND POLICY FOR ADVANCED END OF LIFE TRAINING June 2024: Refunds minus $500 will be offered through May 15, 2024. No refunds offered May 16, 2024 or later. If you cannot attend after the refund deadline, you may defer your training to 2025.
