Potentially life-changing and emotionally devastating, the death of a loved one is recognized as one of the most profound of all loss experiences.
For many, a significant personal death experience causes one to question long held beliefs about themselves and the world and to search, both existentially and spiritually, for answers about life and death, where we come from, and where we go when we die.
This 75 minute class will engage your mind and heart as we talk about
*death – what it is and what it isn’t
*the process of dying – (hint: we know now that the brain is still in motion after the last breath is taken)
*after death communication - phone calls, animals, visions…
*near death experiences - when someone dies and comes back to tell the tale
*death bed visions – what some who are dying see/hear/smell/experience in the weeks, days,hours before death
I’ve done death and dying work for a long time and I can tell you this for sure, there is HOPE in the dying process. If you need some of that, if your clients need some of that, this class is for you.
This class is in a telecourse format. That means once you register, I’ll send you a special phone number/code so you can listen in on the class. A weblink will also be provided so you can listen in via your computer speakers if you wish. Easy breezy.
The class will be recorded and a link will be sent to you the following day. I’ll also send a grief/loss resource list.
If you are a counselor/social worker in Texas, CEU credits are available. Though I am not accredited by other states, often CEUs are accepted. Please check with your licensing agency regarding CEUs.
