Thanks Martha. Nobody really talks about what it is like to attend at a deathbed. It can be scary if you don’t know what is “normal”. I love that you mentioned visions and hallucinations, and also the process of leaving and coming back and then leaving the body over and over again. So true and lovely and mysterious.

Beautifully written. Sounds like the journey with my dad. It was the most beautiful heart-breaking thing in the world. Final Gifts is definitely a beautiful book and so helpful during this time.
